Eric Musselman has perfect reaction to Arkansas signee Nick Smith being ranked No. 1 player in 2022 class
Eric Musselman is a coach that players seem to love playing for, and it’s easy to see why.
The Arkansas coach wears his emotions on his sleeve and has some of the best celebrations in all of college basketball. He also takes every chance he gets to celebrate his players.
On Wednesday, the updated 247Sports rankings of the 2022 men’s basketball recruiting class had Arkansas signee Nick Smith in the No. 1 spot. As you can see below, Musselman had a great reaction to that news:

Smith headlines an Arkansas class that includes 3 5-star players (Smith, Anthony Black and Jordan Walsh) and 3 4-star players. The class currently ranks No. 2 in the nation, behind only Duke, per 247Sports.
Congrats to Nick!
Muss can’t wait for the summer practices to start. These three 5* freshmen and the transfers coming in are going to bring a lot of wins to fayetteville.
We’ll be ready to rock!
Muss should be at LSU. LSU really messed this up.
All LSU had to do was do the right thing and fire Wade 3 years ago when it became obvious he was a dirtbag cheater. Call it karma or poetic justice. If I was an LSU fan, I’d want to know who made the decision to ride it out with Wade. Was it the AD, or one of his bosses?
It wasn’t Alleva because he was ready to fire him. So, that leaves the president and the BOT. The lawyers may have had a say also.
Who wouldn’t want to play for this guy!..
