Desi Sills, ex-Arkansas G, reportedly considering 2 SEC programs as transfer destination
Desi Sills started his college career with three seasons at Arkansas. After one season at Arkansas State, he may find his way back to the SEC for one final year.
On Saturday, Tobias Bass is reporting that Sills has narrowed his list of potential transfer destinations to three schools. That group includes Mississippi State and LSU out of the SEC and Arizona State out of the Pac-12.
Former Arkansas State guard Desi Sills is down to three:
Mississippi State 🐶
Arizona State 🔱
LSU🐅He averaged 12.6 points. 3.6 rebounds, and 2.8 assists per game. Where should he go? #BassBomb🐠💣

Sills started off his career as a 3-star recruit for the Razorbacks via the 2018 recruiting class. He was a key piece for Arkansas’ Elite 8 team during the 2020-21 season with 7.5 points per game in 32 games played.
After playing 98 career games at Arkansas, Sills averaged 12.6 points, 3.6 rebounds and 2.8 over 28 games for Arkansas State during the 2021-22 season.
Ridiculous. This portal needs some fixing. Proof again these aren’t “students” so either fix it or schools become sponsored development league teams.
It is ridiculous. I really liked Desi as a Razorback and didn’t blame him for leaving but they should only get one chance to transfer and if it don’t work out it’s on them.
You can’t take a kid seriously who does this sort of thing. Left Arkansas, transferred to Auburn then left before playing a game only to transfer again to AR State. His UHaul bill is getting expensive.
What happened to the new transfer rule of allowing only 1 transfer without sitting out a year? This is absurd.
