Jarrett Stidham, former Auburn QB, reportedly traded by New England Patriots
Jarrett Stidham has been a member of the New England Patriots since being drafted in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL Draft.
Now, though, the former Auburn quarterback is on the move, according to a report from NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.
Per Pelissero’s tweet, Stidham is heading to the Las Vegas Raiders along with a seventh-round pick in exchange for a sixth-round pick from Las Vegas:
The #Patriots are trading QB Jarrett Stidham and a seventh-round pick to the #Raiders for a sixth-round pick, per source.

The Raiders are an interesting landing spot, as it shows that former New England OC Josh McDaniels, who is now the Raiders’ head coach, thinks highly of Stidham:
The trade gives new #Raiders coach Josh McDaniels a backup QB who knows his offense, while the #Patriots free up a spot in the room after drafting Bailey Zappe in the fourth round.

Stidham appeared in 8 games over 3 years with the Patriots, completing 24 of his 48 pass attempts for 270 yards, 2 touchdowns and 4 interceptions.
This is probably a good thing for him. He will get a shot at starting that he did not have in NE.
The falcons head coach was the patriots OC unless they had a bunch!!!!!!
Negan
He wasn’t going to make the roster in NE and he’s surely not going to start in Vegas unless Carr gets hurt. He has a shot he be second team though.
He went to Auburn and was “develeoped” by Gus, enough said.
True this! And now, I get players transferring from AU given all the changes, etc. but to return to Malzahn simply amazes me. Joey Gatewood should be the standard by which individuals evaluate what happens following Malzahn. He couldn’t even start over a freshman last year.
