Nick Chubb shows off ridiculous strength by squatting 675 pounds
Nick Chubb officially has a claim to the title of the strongest running back in the NFL. The former Georgia running back can squat 675 pounds.
On Monday, the NFL’s official Twitter account shared a video of Chubb working out.

Chubb is gearing up for the 2022 NFL season, his fifth with the Cleveland Browns. He’s coming off of a 2021 campaign in which he recorded 228 carries for 1,259 yards and 8 touchdowns, earning first-team All-Pro recognition.
The No. 35 overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, Chubb took over the RB1 role in Cleveland midway through his rookie year. As the Week 1 starter, he has been selected to the Pro Bowl each of the last 3 seasons. Over 58 regular-season career games (51 starts), Chubb has logged 908 carries for 4,816 yards and 36 touchdowns.
Chubb has made 2 postseason appearances in his Cleveland career (31 carries, 145 yards). Chubb and the Browns will look to get back to the NFL playoffs after the club acquired quarterback Deshaun Watson and wide receiver Amari Cooper in the offseason.
I am a huge Brown and Chubb fan, but this makes zero sense. I have been a weightlifter for over 40 years and only injury is to be gained by non powerlifters attempting one rep maximums. Note to Chubb and anyone who will listen, legs respond and develop from higher reps.
Strength comes by maxing out!!!! Reps are great but you can hurt yourself with reps to. Especially when attempting to show off when you haven’t done it in a while. I was doing reps of 200 pound one armed curls. I did 30 reps on each arm non stop!!!! You can hurt your neck that way. My neck has given me problems ever since!!!!!!
PS. But I have a mean vicious uppercut LOL!!!!!
Negan
The Falcons passed on Chubb, along with many other UGA players.
“I was doing reps of 200 pound one armed curls. I did 30 reps on each arm non stop”
You’ve told some whoppers in your time on SDS, but this might take the cake.
200 pound curls? Dam son you telling a Whopper right there.
Neggie, I just looked it up. The record curl is 135 pounds 1 Rep. Good grief boy, when you lie you tell big ones.
The only thing that’s vicious, Negan, is your mom at the local club going to town with Kirby and the recruitees.
NOW EVERYONE KNOWS THAT NEGAN IS THE KING FEMALE DOG! THIS CHUMP PUTS OUT A CHALLENGE AND THEN RUNS LIKE A LITTLE GIRL WHEN HE FINDS OUT I’M 10 MINUTES FROM HIM! NEGAN IS THE DEFINITION OF A KEYBOARD WARRIOR! IDK, HE MIGHT HAVE HAD TO PICK HIS MOTHER UP FROM THE STRIP CLUB WHERE SHE WORKS FOR CHANGE AND COULDN’T REPLY. I’M WAITING PUNK!
My guess is that Neggie is completely harmless. She gets upset when someone does not believe her drivel.
I completely agree with you, Boondock.
I agree. Not safe to do the one Rep stuff for personal record. I am not a Superman like Negan, but I use do some deadlifts and squats in my 20s. Now I am good if I can squat down and get back up.

Negan you are a certified Clown. Complete with large red nose and big turned shoes.
The only thing you curl are another man’s toes when polishing his knob.
Neggie gonna try to get you to go 3 rounds in the ring.
His idea of 3 rounds is probably not what mine or yours is.
Negan, 200 pounds ain’t nothing to me, just ask your mother.
